How much do we care for and respect each other? Just look at your own family relations and you’ll learn what kind of person you are. What did it mean when God put family first telling His Prophet? And warn (O Muhammad) your closest kindred, and be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. (Ash-Shu`ara’ 26:214, 215) The Prophet (peace be upon him) gave a lot of concern and priority to his own family to make sure they get the message of Islam. He said: “The best of you are the best to their families, and I am the best to my family”. (At-Tirmidhi) So, how should a Muslim deal with their family members? How did the Prophet cared for his own family? What kind of family members are we supposed to be?
